Background

PGA professional Blake Adams approached Tour Greens to fulfill a lifelong dream - to build a golf practice facility in his backyard, so that he could practice at home and have more time to spend with his family. Tour Greens developed a unique design that provided Blake with areas to improve his putting, short game and distance control with his irons.

Installing a Short Game Green

Tour Greens installed one of our Short Game Green systems to allow Blake to hone his putting stroke. The putting surface is 30 yards long and 20 yards wide, and allows Blake to customize the speed based on his practice needs.

The installation team added a 6 foot chipping fringe around the green and a bunker, allowing Blake to keep his short game sharp before tournaments.

Hitting Mats for Distance Control

Blake and Tour Greens designed and installed four tee boxes extending down the driving range so that Blake can work on accurate distance control. With the strategically-placed flags on the green, Blake can tackle every yardage imaginable (in 5 yard increments) 50 to 220 yards out.
